Case Study:
The John Roan School

Blackheath, South East London
Repairing and redecorating classrooms and corridors.

The Project

The Project
This 300 year old school is much loved by the people of Blackheath. Heavy use had meant classrooms and common areas were in need of repair and decoration. The challenge was to complete the decoration of more than 30 rooms and corridors within the Easter Holiday before the pupils returned.

Our Solution

Our Solution
Perfect Painting drew up a schedule of works to enable the whole job to be finished to time. We advised on a colour scheme to brighten up the building and on specific hard wearing paints which could withstand repeated washing.

To get the job done, we deployed four teams of decorators. Plaster repairs and electrical work was carried out first  with our contracts manager holding daily meetings with the school to update them on progress.

The Outcome

The Outcome
Perfect Painting completed the job before the start of the new term, giving the school's interior a real facelift and transforming it as a place to work for both teachers and pupils.
