This grade II listed building dates from the 16th century with 19th Century additions. Flaking paint and rotting timbers were seriously threatening its future. The timbers had previously been painted with lead based paints and the client needed a durable alternative.

Paint technology has advanced steadily since lead based paints were withdrawn. Perfect Painting was able to source a flexible paint system which could 'flex' with the natural expansion and contraction of the timbers.

We completely redecorated the exterior, repairing and replacing defective timbers and a number of new windows were installed. By clever use of scaffolding and towers, our clients were able to continue to work whilst the project was underway.
